I do really love this game. This was my second time around, first time with the Pristine Cut.
I did play it for a video this time around. The title is going to be "A Love Story Between Life and Death" or something like that. I'm not 100% yet. But that's the framework I was coming from given my previous experiences with the game, and where I just kinda currently am at in general right now. This was the first time I'd seen the three endings thouugh. Last time I decided to maintain the fight forever, and that was the only ending I wanted to pursue. For completion, I wanted to see them all this time, but also I was much more drawn to letting the Princess out. idk, I've been thinking about how to actually get on HRT and such recently. It feels like something I am stretching the limits of, rather than seeming so unattainable. I suppose that would change some perspectives.
But this run I got:
- Damsel
- Razor
- Spectre, Wraith
- Prisioner
- Witch

I didn't know Witch could end right there. I hear Thorn is even better in Pristine? Damsel was really interesting last time, because she was the final vessel before I met Shifty in her totality. I knew it was the last one, but it wasn't and it ended up being so anti-climactic in a really cool way. The expansion she gets into Happily Ever After is really cool. Tony's such a great writer. Like ahhhhhh!
But yeah, this game is so rewarding. I don't want to say tons right now, because I need to let everything percolate if I'm gonna write the script well. But it just captures to push and pull between the desire for growth and the fear of it. It does so well at that tension. I love this game.
I will do a little bit more exploring the inside of Thorn's mouth but in general my run of the game is done now. I don't think a massively expansive view of everything ever is actually useful to what I want to achieve with this video, because it'll most be about me anyway. Well not exactly, but it's a "feelings disguised as discussion of media" video. Prolly, I haven't written it yet.
